Which phrase is correct? "the most unlikely of places" or "the unlikeliest of places"? I saw "the most unlikely of places" on this page: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6599048/?ref_=ttep_ep3 But Lexico dictionary shows the superlative degree for unlikely is unlikeliest: https://www.lexico.com/en/definition/unlikely Thanks for your answer.

If I have to be super picky, I would say that "the unlikeliest of places" sounds a little more formal to some but both are correct and natural. As another, more simple and modern alternative, you could just say "in the strangest of places".
