The correct Form is:
In the brackets.

(words) we call these two things either brackets or parentheses so it is correct it is not faulty.
( )= parenthese
{ } = curly braces or braces
[ ] = brackets
often people will interchange the two terms for parentheses ( ) and brackets [ ]
