Hi friends, which one is right?
1. I cried for no reason.
2. I cried without a reason.

Both are grammatically correct. I'd say the first one sounds more natural and would be more commonly heard in conversation.

Both are correct grammatically. I would say that, "I cried for no reason." is used/heard far more often. We often say something like, "He just started crying for no reason" or "Why are you crying for no reason?"
