Hi! It depends what kind of series and movies you like. But I would recommend checking out npo.nl, depending on your location. In the EU, many of the TV shows and movies are available with Dutch subtitles. I am all for the reality kind of TV shows, rather than the ones that are acted out, since it teaches me authentic sentences and words. Some of my Dutch favorites: Boer zoekt vrouw, ik vertrek, Dream School, heel Holland bakt, First Dates etc. For actual series, maybe try watching something that is targeted towards a younger audience, since it's easier to follow. I'm not saying Spongebob or Peppa Pig, unless you enjoy that, but try: Spangas! I loved that when I was younger. Other shows: De Luizenmoeder, Papadag. I know Netflix has a few series, movies available as well. You can just type in "Dutch" in the search bar, and all the movies and series will pop up! I use that feature all the time!
