Hallo Mary_Qin,
It is difficult to talk about typical when considering a country in the era of globalization, where borders are fading and becoming less distinct.
However Germany remains famous for its compulsive scoffers of sausage "Bratwurst", cabbage and potato washed down with beer and their people: blonds and blue eyed, cool, distant and calculating and devoid of humor (which is many times mere prejudgments and stereotyping).
Germany is also traditionally famous for the "Oktoberfest",Waluburg's Night and the May-tree.
Historically Germany is particularly famous for its outstanding contributions to music ( Beethoven, JS Bach and many others) literature (Goethe, Schiller and others), to the arts, architecture
( Cologne Cathedral "Kölner Dom") , and to nearly all branches of science " Albert Einstein" and scholarhip, beside its achievements in technology and engineering.
Unfortunately very famous for its history of warfare "WWII", "Hitler" as well.
So many other things: Nice cars, castles , chocolate... Ok that is enough .. I'll go get myself a chunky bar of Ritter Sport ;)
