"It seems/looks/appears like ~." Are these different or the same? I wonder if "it seems like ~," "it looks like ~" and "it appears like ~" are different or the same, in meanings.. ?

Ditto as Mr. Avatar, but I don't think the 'like' after 'it seems' is quite necessary. :-/??

Same! But the grammar is slightly different: "It seems nice" "It looks nice" "It appears to be nice" Appears is always followed by the verb "to be", and we don't say "appears like". It seems like it is a good thing. It looks like it is a good thing. It appears to be a good thing.
