Yes, we have many and its not just pronunciation. I recently saw a job advertisement for a teaching position in China which to paraphrase said something like "UK people with extreme accents would not be suitable for this post." Which I took to mean strong Scottish, Newcastle or Northern Irish accents, but maybe that shows my own prejudice.

Parkinson, the guy on the left, would have been trained to speak in the Queens English (was compulsory in the old days of television), but retains a soft Yorkshire accent. The guy on the right is a famous comedian/comic from the Manchester/Lancashire area.

Paul Gascoigne, on the left was one of England's best football players and as a strong Newcastle accent. Hes talking to interviewer Frank Skinner who as a midlands/Birmingham area accent.

Thats a good answer above, all the different parts of England have different accents, for example the London cockney accent is very different from the Manchester or Yorkshire accent.
