我真的希望现在他玩得非常开心。 I really hope he is having a lot of fun right now! Please also I dont want this to sound sarky but friendly and genuine!

What you wrote is correct. No grammar problem.
And if you wrote it like this, it'd be better for daily use: 我真的希望他现在玩得非常开心。
