Yes, it is the perfect answer...if you are a robot or an android! But seriously, if you said that people might think that you had recently been living in a a mental institution, which is a place where people might use an expression like "function inside of normal parameters'.

It's not a normal response, but I think it's wonderful and can't wait to use it myself. It's grammatically correct and people would understand it. They would think that you are being funny.
