"awanai" and "aenai" (base1+nai vs. base2+nai) What's the difference? I think I saw "aenai" being used. I think I heard it in a song. Is there a difference between these two?

au (meet) --> awanai (not meet) aeru (can meet) --> aenai ( cannot meet) They are different verbs. There are many other pairs like: aruku(walk) -- arukeru(can walk) yomu(read) -- yomeru(can read) oyogu(swim) -- oyogeru(can swim)
