Pesos. US dollars and euros can also be exchanged at a bank.

Mexican pesos. 1 US dollar = 12.35 Mexican pesos
Until recently you could use dollars for everyday shopping, but recently a regulation was passed that says you can only pay in pesos.
And by the way, some people in Mexico believe (I don't know if also ppl in other courtries) that carrying a banknote in your wallet gives you good luck

Jura tiene razón, nuestra moneda es el peso. Puede ser que otros paises nombren a su moneda como peso, por lo que para distinguirlo puedes decir peso mexicano.
