It's covered pretty well by the other answers but he's mine: "still Breathing" the latter would be more commonly be "can still breathe" Uses: I am still breathing; I (can) breathe - changes sentiment makes the statement abstract/uncommon; S/he is (still) breathing. - Is can be taken away but changes the statement to a question; He/she can breathe; They are still breathing. ; They (can) breathe (Uncommon) For the second was covered by Eliot except instead of after I'd use about but that's just a regional thing I assume.

1. He's still breathing. 2. Jack (person's name) says hello. Jack asks after you. Jack's been asking after you. It's that simple.

Hi, In most situations we use," still breathing." For instance, "Although the man was unconscious he was still breathing." Occasionally, the phrase "still breathe" might be used in certain situations where the grammar calls for it but it is not common. I believe the easiest thing to say is, "So and so was asking about you the other day. He/She asked me to say hello to you." Take Care Nicole
