A word rundown
My foreign teacher made a sentence which said that "My computer was rundown ",is that right?He gave the Chinese meaning 减少，and gave the English meaning in a poor state.I wonder whether there is something wrong with the word,meaning or the sentence.

Yes 'run down' means something has been used a lot so it isn't as good as when it was new.
You can also say 'tired' and many other things which mean old.

I think rundown in chinese means 运行速度变慢, I dont agree with "减少"  since it's in poor state.
