When to put a اً in arabic
When am I supposed to put a اً in Arabic?
For example I typed the following sentence
كان ألن غنسبرغ شاعرمشهور"
It was corrected to be:
كان ألن غنسبرغ شاعراً مشهوراً

when singular noun without (ال) like your second sentence ...
for example : كان الجوُ صحواً = I added ( اً ) to صحو only because الجو with ( ال ) so , I can't add it ... but , I can add it like this one : كان جواً صحواً

This is the ending of an indefinite noun (and its adjective if it has) which means it doesn't have the ال, in the accusative case. The correct writing is you put the ً : double Fat'ha on the letter, then you add ا , e.g : شاعرًا
