Como explicaba Phil se trata de una metáfora con el béisbol.
Cuando se saca del estadio jugando al béisbol una pelota es lo más. Al igual que la interpretación de Lady Gaga del himno nacional de Estados Unidos, que dio inicio al Super Bowl 50, que enloqueció a los fanáticos de la cantante por su poderosa voz.

That’s clearly a translation into Spanish of a baseball metaphor, most likely used by the English language press. The original would have to be something like “Lady Gaga hit it out of the ballpark.”

I think in colloquial English we would say that Lady Gaga "brought down the house."
