I am just enjoying my Chinese New Year's vacation. Though I really wanted to have a trip during my vacation, when I saw videos showing all the people travelling from different places crowding into the famous resorts to which I planned to go, I quit / I left the competition! We have a funny phrase to vividly describe this situation called “a mountain of people and a sea of people”. Today is just the third day of my vacation, but I have got drunk twice. So, I have no idea whether some of my relatives will visit me or not today, but I have prepared enough food and wine for them. As Chinese people, the most important part of the New Year’s celebration is to give family members, relatives and friends our best wishes. So, my family and I wish you good health, a happy family life as well as great fortune! We wish you all the best! I have heard good news, we eventually have a unique word: "loong”, to say Chinese dragon. I don't know why people used dragon to say our most auspicious animal many years ago, they are actually two very different kinds of animals. It really made a lot of misunderstandings between West and East. Especially this year is the year of the “loong”. I hope my foreign friends can see this animal in a new way!
