Hi Is my sentence correct and natural enough? I've gotten numerous messages that are quite weird. Thanks.

It's fine, but say "received" instead of "gotten". Avoiding the verb "to get" will help you to learn English by expanding your vocabulary.

Yes, your sentence is correct and natural. It effectively conveys that you have received multiple messages that are strange or unusual. If you wanted to make the sentence more specific or provide more context, you could consider adding additional information, such as who sent the messages, what made them weird, or how you feel about them. However, as it stands, the sentence is grammatically correct and conveys a clear message.

Agree this is okay, though to me, as a UK-based Englishman, ‘gotten’ sounds like US English. We’d say ‘received’, I think. “Got” is used in place of “gotten” in the UK but here sounds slightly inelegant.
