I think everyone is born with a defined personality. Life experiences "shape" a person's character, its behaviours and ideas but your true essence remains - according to me - that one you are born with.
In Italy we ussualy say: "If you are born square, you can't die round" and I think this proverb well resumes the sense of my thoughts.
