2021年9月2日起成为italki教师兴趣话题艺术音乐读书饮食旅行
I am Dee from Spain! I speak Spanish (my first language), English (C2 level), French (C1 level) and I have studied Italian in the past (B1 level). I'm an English graduate and I have a masters' degree in teaching Spanish as a second language as well as a master's degree in editorial translation. I love languages and meeting new people. I am interested in culture, especially music and literature, but I also love cinema, photography, visiting museums and travelling.教学经验
As a teacher, I like to create lessons that are fully adapted to my students. I like to know why students want to learn a language and which are the things that can spark their passion for learning. I like to make feel students welcome, comfortable and not afraid to make mistakes. I am accessible and friendly.

I am well aware that the best way to learn a language is by speaking, so my lessons are mainly focused on having conversations with the students based on the topics that interest them the most.
Lessons I offer in Spanish: lessons for complete beginners, conversation lessons and grammar lessons. (Levels: A1-C2).
Lessons I offer in English: conversation lessons and grammar lessons (Levels: A2-C2).
WHO DO I TEACH? Adults and teenagers. I do NOT teach small children.

I do these classes (6:00 am) before my school starts, there have been times when I’m extremely tired and don’t want to get out of bed, but she always makes the conversations worth it. Every time I’m excited to come to class. I originally started this to practice for an exchange program but I couldn’t help coming back after to keep talking with her.

Dee is the perfect conversation tutor! She speaks slowly and clearly and is able to maintain a fluid conversation while helping me with corrections. She’s also so patient and fun to speak with which helps me feel more comfortable.

Dee is a really great teacher. She speaks in a way that means I can understand her clearly, but it doesn’t feel like she’s purposely slowing down. She is very patient and helps whenever I don’t know how to say something or I make an error. She is very encouraging and friendly.

I've had over 200 classes with Dee over the past 18 months or so. It's amazing that when I started, I could hardly talk or understand anything in Spanish, but now I'm able to speak with her the whole class. She has been so patient and kind with me and is great at asking questions to get me talking. I really appreciate her corrections. I continue to look forward to our classes and hope to have hundreds more with her over the years.
