Ildiko

I've been working with Ildikó for over 2 years to learn Hungarian for my simplified naturalization interview, which I just passed successfully the day I'm writing this. She's an excellent, very thorough, very encouraging teacher who's instilled in me just as much love for the Hungarian language and Hungarian culture as I can tell she has herself. She's been very understanding and accommodating to help me learn at my own pace, but she's never gone easy on me, always pushing me to speak and understand Hungarian on a deeper level. She's fantastic at tailoring lessons and conversations to who I am; don't be surprised on your first lesson if she's Googled you and already has a lesson plan about your most obscure interests! That is how much Ildikó truly cares about her students. If you're in for the long haul of learning this language, Ildikó is a fantastic teacher to take you on this journey, and will feel like family by the end of it.

Ildiko was extremely helpful and patient, while she guided me through filling out Citizenship Verification form/s. We knew it would take a while, and the time zone differences could have made this difficult, but she very kindly opened up 2 × 1 hour time slots to accommodate for all this. Thank you very much, Ildiko!
