My name is Natalie and I am a native English speaker from Australia. I spent most of my life living abroad, in Papua New Guinea and the Middle East, so most of my friends, classmates, colleagues, and people that I have interacted with on a daily basis have been learning English as a second language. It seems like I have been teaching English my whole life. :) I learned French and German in secondary school, so I know how difficult it is to learn a second language. I worked as a flight attendant for an international airline for 15 years so I have traveled extensively. I love to do tie-dye and shibori in my spare time, and I adore cats.教学经验
I have been teaching English as a second language for approximately 12 years, with students ranging from 6 to 60 years old, but I usually teach adults. I have a Diploma in Business English from Edinburgh University and enjoy teaching business English. I know that the biggest gap is in speaking and conversation, so I dedicate most of my online teaching to speaking and conversation because students need a second person to become great speakers. I also specialize in speaking diplomatically, which suits advanced and intermediary students. Teaching is one of the most rewarding careers filled with lovely smiles and happy students. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
As adults, we are often hesitant and shy to speak which slows our progress. I always tell my students that mistakes and forgetting things are absolutely normal and they shouldn't worry about it. My classes are relaxed and easy-going where you can gain confidence, improve and reach the goals you set. I do challenge my students with activities that are a little above their level to make the classes interesting and challenging, and I tailor my classes to suit the individual student.
