John is the best teacher, period! Learning with John never feels like studying. Our conversations are always interesting, relaxed, and enjoyable, and the time flies by every single lesson. He's patient, attentive, and notices every detail, making sure to correct everything that needs improving while explaining it in a way that's easy to understand. I always leave each lesson feeling that I've learned something valuable. Highly recommended!

John is by far one of the best teachers on Italki! He helped me prepare for my TOEFL exam, and in just a few months, I went from an average school level in English to being able to speak with confidence. He is very patient and kind, creating a comfortable atmosphere for speaking. His lessons are always tailored to address your weak points, making every session productive and effective. This was my first lesson with John, and I was surprised by how quickly time passed. I really enjoyed talking with him, and the atmosphere of the class was very comfortable and pleasant. John taught me how to express myself from the perspective of an American native speaker, rather than just simply learning English. He is also very good at guiding the conversation and asking thoughtful questions. At the right moments, he corrected my mistakes in a gentle and helpful way. What I appreciate the most is that he is very encouraging. This is something I really need, because I rarely have the chance to communicate with native speakers. Overall, I think John’s class is excellent, and I would definitely recommend his lessons!
