Hello, I am Andy, a licensed professional English teacher from the Philippines. With native fluency in English, Tagalog, and Bicol, I bring a deep understanding of language acquisition and cultural nuances to my teaching. Over the past five years—including four years of online instruction—I have honed a dynamic approach to language education, incorporating music as an engaging and effective teaching tool. By leveraging diverse musical genres, I help students enhance their English proficiency in an interactive and enjoyable manner. My background enables me to connect with learners at all levels, fostering confidence and fluency through tailored lessons.

I am always setting good expectations for my students whether a student constantly makes hundreds on tests or a fifty, each student should be given positive reinforcement in class. I always exhibit positive expectations to ensure each student believes they can excel. I always transmit positive reinforcement by telling each student that they have high abilities and can learn and excel to their highest abilities. I always set positive expectations in the class that will help students who do not have proper motivation and support at home.

I always established rapport with my students. I know that establishing interpersonal relationships with students is crucial but I always see to it that I form a trusting bond with each of my students. I am always available even if my class is done to answer questions and provide additional help to students. And lastly, I show tolerance to differing points of view during my class. I always master the implementation of the lessons in my class. It involves how I cater the needed curriculum into discussions, activities, and assignments. In addition, I always evaluate whether or not the students mastered the lessons.
