I'm an American girl who loves adventure, traveling and trying new things! I have a pet cat who sometimes travels with me to foreign countries. 🐱✈️ Some of my hobbies include bicycling, rollerblading, SCUBA diving, cooking, video games, politics and meeting new people. So far, I've traveled to Mexico, Germany, Egypt, Hungary, Ukraine, Lebanon, Jamaica, Tanzania and Turkey. This has definitely broadened my horizons in terms of experiencing different cultures and ways of life as well as different perspectives and outlooks. I've also traveled throughout most of the United States including New York, Miami, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Philadelphia. My favorite place is the forest. 🌲教学经验
I have a degree in both journalism and English literature which included courses in linguistics as well. In 2021, I graduated from the CELTA academy in Cairo, Egypt which consisted of 200 learning hours. I've also taught in-person classroom lessons to elementary level and intermediate level students in the countries of Egypt, Tanzania and Turkey. I'm confident that I can help you improve your ability to understand English. I'm able to teach pronunciation, grammar, writing and much more. I've taught over 1000 lessons to a variety of students. My lessons are fun and interactive! I enjoy using a wide variety of teaching materials such as audio files, pictures, worksheets, roleplaying and engaging activities. I use scaffolding techniques to gradually build up a student's knowledge and offer a student-centered approach to learning. I'm also experienced in giving IELTS lessons and am well-versed in the exam and its expectations.

CELTA - Reachout Academy - International House Cairo - 2021Face-to-face CELTA (certificate of English language teaching to adults) course in Cairo Egypt. This course consisted of 200 classroom hours where I was taught how to become a better English teacher. I also personally taught eight classroom lessons to elementary level students and intermediate level students separately. The CELTA enables me to successfully work in a variety of English language contexts around the world.
