**KONNICHIWA! I’m Misa—your Japanese coach with a traveler’s heart!** ✈️
As a former international tour leader (5+ years!), I *live* for bridging cultures through language. Whether you’re prepping for a trip to Japan, craving travel-themed convos, or tackling JLPT kanji, I’ll make learning feel like an adventure—with practical tips, cultural nuggets, and *lots* of encouragement!

I obtained my Japanese teaching qualification in April 2022.
Since then, I've been working as an online Japanese teacher, offering lessons not only on italki but also classes for technical intern trainees and Kanji preparation for JLPT.
As an English learner myself, I deeply understand the challenges of learning languages.
I always try to tailor my lessons to suit each student's goals, whether they are beginners, planning to visit Japan as a tourist, or simply looking to have conversations like friends.
2022年4月に日本語教師の資格を取得しました。
それからはオンライン日本語教師として、italkiの他に技能実習生への授業やJLPTの漢字対策の授業もしています。
私も英語学習者なので、言語学習の難しさを痛感しています。
初めて日本語を勉強する人や日本に観光に来る予定のある人、また友達のように会話をしたい人など、それぞれの目的に合わせてレッスンをするようにしています。我提供的课程和我的教学风格
1. Free Conversation 自由な会話
Please relax and have fun! We can choose topics based on your goals or just talk about daily life.
リラックスして会話を楽しみましょう！目標に合わせた話題を決めたり、日常生活について話しましょう！
2. Travel Japan 日本に旅行
Let’s practice useful expressions for when you're sightseeing! I could also share some recommendations and information based on my experience as a tour guide.
観光中に役に立つ表現を練習しましょう！また、添乗員の経験を活かしておすすめの場所や情報も伝えます。
3.JLPT Kanji Preparation 漢字対策
Kanji preparation for N4 to N2. We'll be using specified textbook.
N4からN2までの漢字対策です。指定の教科書を使います。
4. Job interviews and resumes 面接練習と履歴書作成
Let’s practice Japanese job interviews. I can also help to check and edit your resume.

Misa is the friendliest, most patient teacher here on iTalki. I can't stress enough how easy it is to forget your nervousness and doubts and just get swept up in the flow of conversation. I get the feeling that it is Mia's wonderful personality and positive, radiant energy that makes it possible. She is extremely helpful when answering questions, clarifying grammar and teaching new words or expressions - and her solid grasp of English is a nice safety line! Highly recommend.

Misa always prepares fun and useful lessons tailored to my needs. Each lesson builds upon previously learned topics in a logical way.
Misa uses real-world materials (such as bus schedules, travel calendars, ferry price charts) which gives her lessons authenticity while motivating me to study vocabulary for numbers, months, days, and prices. I highly recommend, Misa as a teacher.

I usually feel so shy when I have to speak Japanese but Misa-san made me feel so comfortable and at ease. It was an incredibly enjoyable lesson. She provided me with useful guidance on how to have successful job interviews in Japanese, and she did all this always with a smile on her face. 100% recommend her 💓

She’s very bubbly, and great at explaining. During the lesson, she would write in the italki chat so that I could note down the new sentences and phrases I was learning. Will book again.
