Hello! I’m Ian from Cape Town, South Africa. With 12 years as a professional copy editor, translator, and proofreader, I bring a sharp eye for language and detail to every lesson. I’m passionate about exploring world cultures and love connecting with people from all walks of life. If you want to speak clearly and confidently, I’m here to help you reach your goals!
I am kind and patient, with a deep understanding of the difficulties that come with learning a new language.
In my lessons I will mostly focus on conversational English or Afrikaans. I believe that it is vitally important that the student gets as much time as possible to speak English or Afrikaans, and for that reason my role will mostly be to initiate conversation, correct any grammar or pronunciation mistakes, and enhance the student's vocabulary by covering as many topics of discussion as possible.我的教学资料
