Teacher JOEY💕

I have done a lot of lessons with Joey in the last 2 months. Each lesson has been a lot of fun and I have learned much thanks to him. Throughout the first couple of weeks was focused the majority on verbs and adjectives. then we worked on creating sentences. all this time he has been very patient and helped me whenever I needed assistance in the class as well as outside the class. We learned common questions as well as common slang.he is working hard to make the classes feel enjoyable and safe. I am constantly learning new things at a good pace, and now can read short stories and have the basic understanding of what is happening in it. outside of class he is sending resources that may assist me in my learning. he is also finding ones that are enjoyable.

Joey is an exceptional Tagalog teacher. His passion for the language shines through in every lesson. The grammar lessons are very helpful and well-organized! Teacher Joey uses a lot of different examples, which are helpful for learning how verb conjugations appear in-context and practicing how/when to use them in conversation. The worksheets and handouts he provides are also very valuable for studying and reviewing in between lessons.

I am incredibly fortunate to have Joey as my teacher on italki. Joey is not only friendly and approachable but also deeply committed to supporting my language learning journey. He patiently explains unfamiliar words, helping me expand my vocabulary and grasp new concepts. Joey's expertise in grammar and pronunciation has been invaluable in improving my language skills.
