This was a good lesson. Aaron customized the lesson to assist me to prepare for an upcoming oral interview. Also he showed quick problem-solving skills when there was a technological problem. :)

This was my first trial lesson on Italki. I didn’t know what to expect and Aaron guided me through conversation and vocabulary with gentleness.

My lessons with Aaron Tossou have been great. His lessons are very organized and tailored to my learning style. He is very patient with me and helps me to express what I am trying to say when I can't find the French words to complete my thoughts. I have completed 5 lessons with him and I can already see the difference in my French. I highly recommend this teacher if you want good quality lessons that are tailored and beneficial to your learning style.

Fongbe isn't the easiest language to learn. There aren't many resources, very few teachers online, and even fewer who speak English well. Because of this, people who are interested in Benin and its culture are often encouraged to just learn French instead. With that said, I'm very happy to have found Aaron who can teach fongbe in a methodical way, in both French and English. He is a teacher who clearly has a lot of experience teaching languages and recognizes the dynamic nature of fongbe. He has been able to explain grammar and pronunciation in an easy to understand way, and I really do feel like I'm learning a lot with him! Fongbe is very different from any European language and I'm grateful that I have found a teacher who can make it feel intuitive!
