René is an excellent French teacher and tailors his lessons to where you are as a student. I have been booking lessons with René for the past 3 years and he has excellently guided the conversations and teaching to where I was throughout my French learning journey. I would highly recommend booking René no matter where you are with your personal French speaking abilities.

He is good at keeping the class and conversation flowing and has provided me with helpful resources to improve my learning and exposure to French on my own time. J’ai rencontré René chaque semaine pendant près de 18 mois avant de cesser d’utiliser iTalki en février 2025 et j’ai toujours beaucoup apprécié nos conversations. Cette semaine, j’ai planifié une séance pour obtenir des conseils sur l’apprentissage de l’allemand, une langue qu’il maîtrise bien. Il a été très généreux de ses conseils. Si je reviens sur iTalki pour suivre des cours d’allemand avec un locuteur natif, j’espère pouvoir trouver quelqu’un du calibre de René. Pour ceux qui apprennent le français, je ne saurais trop le recommander. C’est un excellent partenaire de conversation qui corrigera vos erreurs sans interrompre le fil de la discussion.
