Hello, My name is Kiko🌻(IG @japanese_with_kiko) I'm a certified Japanese teacher with over 4 years of experience teaching online and at a university in Eastern Europe. I specialize in beginner-level grammar and practical conversation, helping students speak with confidence from day one.
私は教えることに情熱を持ち、忍耐強い性格です。従来の教科書だけの単純な学びではなく、「話せる日本語」の習得に力を入れています。丁寧語、敬語、タメ口(カジュアル)、長崎弁(方言)の4つを話します。基本的には丁寧語で会話をはじめますが、学生の話し方に応じてスイッチします。趣味は外国語学習、スポーツ観戦、料理です。もちろんアニメも見ますよ！

I handled both group classes and individual lessons for students ranging from complete beginners to intermediate learners. In face-to-face lessons, I taught to introduce Japanese culture in each session, offering experiences beyond language learning, such as soroban, making personal hanko, card games, hanafuda, and peace education.

I am really enjoying my lessons with Kiko-san! I really feel like my conversational skills are improving. Kiko-san is diligent in gently correcting me when I get things wrong so that I can fix my mistakes, and we never seem to run out of things to talk about, which makes the lessons really fun.
