She immediately understood my idiosyncratic struggles and recommended practical steps for making realistic progress. She also has that rare quality of being completely present every moment of the lesson, totally engaged, even during my long and boring struggles. The very pronounced feeling that she actually genuinely cares made a world of difference in putting me at ease and bringing out my best Italian — so very rare indeed! I’m quite hopeful about implementing her ideas, which center around bridging my studies with daily life in ways that take it from a strictly academic pursuit to a lived experience. Fabiola es una excelente profesora, se toma muy en serio el aprendizaje de sus alumnos, tiene cantidad de recursos muy útiles, sus clases son intensas (en el sentido de que se aprende mucho), pero no se hacen largas, al contrario, te quedas con ganas de más, porque te hace sentir muy cómodo.
