Hello there!
I'm James, an experienced English teacher originally from England and now living in Japan. With 5 years of teaching English in Japan and on italki, I'm here to make your English learning journey exciting and enjoyable.
I've had the incredible opportunity to work as a cabin crew in Dubai, where I connected with people eager to improve their English skills.
Additionally, I'm a certified personal fitness trainer, so feel free to ask me anything about health and fitness.

I'm a relaxed and experienced English teacher who enjoys seeing my students' progress. Alongside being a qualified personal fitness trainer, teaching and coaching are my true passions. In Tokyo, I taught English to students of various ages, most of whom were beginners. I am always very patient and encourage students to embrace mistakes as part of the learning process. Last class of the year and James continues to be the best teacher I've ever had. Always in a good mood, with new topics. Every time we have class, I feel even more like learning English. James is very creative in his classes and it's always great to be able to talk about so many different topics in each class. Thank you James, for another year of fantastic classes!
