I'm an English teacher and a freelance illustrator who recently relocated to France. My educational background includes a degree in Mass Communications, and I'm currently immersed in the world of animation film studies. Although I hail from Colombia, I've spent the majority of my life in the United States. I'm a passionate enthusiast of art, history, and music.
I hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification and have been actively engaged in English teaching for the past six years, both in traditional classroom settings and through online platforms. My experience has spanned across students of diverse nationalities and age groups. As a native Spanish speaker, I am also proficient in teaching my mother tongue.
My classes are known for their dynamic nature, and I encourage student participation. I mainly focus on conversational skills, reinforcing grammar, and expanding vocabulary. As a beginner in Spanish, I literally know nothing about the language. Helena help me to learn grammar, vocab, the very basic stuff about the Spanish. She is very responsible, polite and nice. She is a bilingual in both English and Spanish. So it is okay to use both to communicate with her.
In the courses, she offered a lot of studying materials. She also taught me how to use many online resources to learn more about the language. Such as a website for conjugation, which is very helpful for me to search the annoying verbs in Spanish 🤣She also use her own language studying experience to teach me how to learn my español.(She is currently studying French)
She is absolutely a fine teacher. I strongly recommend to learn either language from her. And she is utterly a five star teacher for sure 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
