⭐️I have scientific and engineering backgrounds. I majored in mechanical engineering and worked in R＆D fields for 35 years. I can help you in scientific and engineering genres.

在我刚来到日本的第三个月 那时候也是我人生最迷茫的阶段，有幸上了一次谷古老师的课。我说想在日本找工作就职 问老师意见和建议，老师跟我说要自信 基本都是从一开始的很短的时间里就会决定这个人是否可以。我一直记得这句话，也记得老师的鼓励。后来成功在日本找到了工作，两年半以后再次上老师的课，同样也收到了很多鼓励。对日语要自信、对自己也要自信！！谢谢谷古老师！

古谷老师很耐心，而且很专业，会针对学生的回答提出建议。除此之外，老师还会在课上讲日本文化、商业知识等内容。通过课程我不仅提高了日语表达能力，还学到了许多有趣的知识^-^期待下次的课程

Furuya-san is an excellent teacher. I'm an upper-intermediate student and he really broke down some good suggestions for methods for me to improve my confidence speaking and also corrected some habits I have that may be inappropriate for polite conversation. I'm very grateful for all the help and am looking forward to the next lesson!

Furuya-san again gave me a great lesson - he listened to my funny story involving me freaking out at a reptile cafe and gave me great vocab to embellish it and gave me some grammar corrections.
We talked about the behavior of companion pets and their popularity in Japan
He also gave me great strategies on how to consolidate my vocab knowledge via recommended textbooks and how to learn vocab in context to make it more concrete in my brain
