I count myself so lucky to have Tomas as my teacher. He always gives 100% effort, which is more than I can say for myself! However, he is patient when I forget things I should have already know, or when I have an off day. Most italki tutors just do conversation practice. Tomas comes prepared with grammar lessons and relevant homework. His English is near native level, so there’s never any difficulty explaining things in a way I can understand. He also remembers things about my life and asks me practice questions that are specific to my situation. It’s easy to forget he has a whole roster of other students he is also teaching! Thank you Tomás for all your assistance! I look forward to my lessons.

Tomás has been my teacher from the beginning of my Spanish journey. He has been able to adapt to my needs throughout the process. He's a great conversation partner, but also knows the Spanish language well and can answer any grammar question. He really takes the time to prepare for his lessons and always has fun activities planned. He's listed as a community tutor but he's the most "professional" quality teacher I've come across.

I am quite grateful for Tomás, I have taken a month worth of lessons with him and it has been transformative. I am Mexican American but I have always been discouraged from speaking Spanish in school and in public. I felt like I was going into my lessons with Tomás without a strong foundation of the language and with so many insecurities about my identity. He has been nothing but patient and understanding with me. I felt like he was able to immediately identify my areas of improvement and my areas of strength. He seems to be very familiar working with other "no sabos" haha. I recommend him for folks of all language levels including those who have a mixed bag of knowledge (like myself). Although, I am still learning the more complex stuff, I have so much more confidence speaking Spanish which is the key for learning and growth.

I have been seeing Tomás for Spanish lessons since almost the beginning of my journey of learning Spanish. I started scheduling 2 lessons a week with Tomás about 10 months ago and can proudly say that I can talk about many different topics and understand a lot of spoken Spanish. I will continue seeing Tomás twice a week for the foreseeable future and would highly recommend him!

Amazing Spanish teacher! The lessons are always engaging, well structured, and easy to follow. He explains everything clearly and makes learning Spanish feel natural and comfortable, even as a beginner. He’s patient, encouraging, and very good at adapting the lessons to my level. I’ve already noticed a real improvement in my confidence and understanding. Highly recommend him!
