Hello! I'm Keeley Meetze, your American English tutor who loves to help students speak English like a native. I come from Greenville, South Carolina, and have been a teacher for 15 years. I have a marketing degree and a lot of experience with business topics. My teaching journey has taken me from the USA to Spain, and now I'm in London studying psychology and culture. I've met students from all over the world and enjoy learning about their lives as much as teaching them English. I cater each of my lessons to the individual student. My lessons are based on what you need. We will talk a lot to help you speak smoothly and sound more like a native speaker. If you want to learn business English, I can help with that too. We can work on how to give great presentations. Most of my lessons are conversations about different things. The teacher gives very long speeches. I can't even interrupt and she doesn't give you the opportunity to intervene and talk about anything. You need to be a good listener as she is always talking herself. I was a listener for 80 minutes of the 1.5 hour lesson. She only gave me the opportunity to talk for like 10 minutes. My goal was to improve my speaking practice but she didn't even give it a chance. She is like an automatic. I thought I was talking to artificial intelligence.
