I am from the UK, but lived in Japan for 20 years. I am now in France and enjoying the countryside. I love being active. I enjoy triathlons, hiking, snow-shoeing, and I love scuba. I jump in the sea twice a week to discover what is down there! I am also trying to renovate my old house, which has taken me much longer than I imagined! I am pretty devoted to my old dog (he is 10 now) and we enjoy walking and playing together.教学经验
My first job was as a primary school teacher in London. Then I taught in Japanese cram schools, before doing a masters degree. Once I had the degree I moved to working in universities in Japan. After leaving Japan, I moved to France where I teach online and grade academic English writing tests. I spend 10 weeks every summer working at the University of Glasgow on their pre-sessional programme. I lead a team of teachers whose job it is to help students achieve a 6.5 or 7 IELTS level so they can study for a masters degree at the university.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I trained as a primary school teacher and developed a philosophy that learning should be enjoyable. I try to make the activities as engaging as possible. This can be difficult if you are training for a test such as IELTS or Cambridge, but I do my best! I will analyze your errors and recommend exercises and quizzes to improve your weak areas. I make worksheets that review areas that you need to improve. I also do mock writing and speaking tests under the same conditions as the exam, and give you an approximate grade, so you have a good idea of your level before doing the test.我的教学资料

LecturerI spent three months at the University of Glasgow preparing post-graduate students for their Master's degrees. Most of them arrived with an IELTS score between 5.5 and 6.5 and they had to develop their academic English skills to an equivalent of an IELTS score of 6.5 or 7. All of my students passed the course.

LecturerI continue doing this job every summer. This gives me a lot of experience with students who need 6.5 or 7 IELTS level. We do a lot of standardization to ensure that we assess the students at the right level. I lead a team of teachers and advise them on the appropriate levels for student's work. I always learn about new resources and ensure I am up to date with the requirements of IELTS.

Merci Michelle pour toutes ces merveilleuse leçons passées ensemble.
J'ai toujours apprécié de discuter avec toi de sujet divers et variés (vie, sociale, sport, technologie et plus encore ...). Michelle est très cultivée et s'intéresse à tout les sujets de discutions ! Chaque cours étaient centrés sur une règle de grammaire simple que nous pratiquions au travers d'exercice et débat. Cela m'a permis de me donner plus confiance en moi-même et me faire progresser sur mon élocution et mon vocabulaire d'anglais. En anglais, les règles simples sont les plus utiles dans la conversation de tout les jours. Un grand merci pour toute la patience que tu as eu sur ces 6 derniers mois de cours. Je recommande sans hésiter les cours avec Michelle.

It's my second class with Michelle. I sent her my writing practice before the class. She not only corrected my grammar errors, but also helped me to make my written more formal. Plus, she cheered me up in the end haha. Along with correcting a practice, she found out my problems when writing, and give me some advices to improve my writing skill.
