She sets relevant and engaging homework after most lessons, uses a variety of methods and tools to make learning dynamic, and is particularly strong at identifying weaknesses and helping you improve them quickly. Her approach to teaching grammar, vocabulary, and conversation is clear and effective. What really sets her apart, though, is her emotional intelligence. She’s super friendly, easy to talk to, and creates a pressure-free space where you feel safe making mistakes — which really helped my confidence grow. She also takes detailed notes during lessons so I can review everything afterward, which is incredibly helpful. Highly recommend her to anyone serious about improving their Spanish with a kind, professional, and effective teacher.

She is always present, patient, and on point. (Even when sick) She cares about her student's growth. She is also very nice and down to earth. Not only is she a great person, she is an efficient teacher. The first day she figured out where I was level wise and then she showed me areas I could improve. She taught me how effective it is to put vocabulary words on my mirror and has worked with me to increase my vocabulary at a faster rate than I thought possible. On top of how great she is overall, it is affordable. If you want to noticeable results in an uplifting environment, then Valentina is right for you. I really appreciate everything she does.

I really enjoyed my trial lesson with Valentina. She spoke very clearly and I could understand more Spanish that I initially expected. The lesson had a very natural progression, we spoke on topics that were interesting to me. Valentina wrote down words and phrases in Spanish for me whenever I couldn't say something.
