With a PhD in Urdu and an MA in English, I specialize in literary translation, particularly the metrical translation of English poetry into Urdu. My doctoral research focused on this area in Pakistan. With 15+ years of teaching experience at Government PST Graduate College, I have taught learners at all levels. I have translated works like Linguistics for Beginners and The Postmodern Condition. Recently, I translated Ahmad Faraz’s Urdu poetry into English, published internationally.
