My name is Anna. I'm a 38-year-old native Russian speaker from Ukraine. I’m a certified Russian and English teacher with more than 8 years of experience. My hobbies are running, yoga, and walking in nature. I love learning languages. Recently I started studying programming. Cats and animals are an important part of my life. My favorite topics of discussion include: goals and dreams, relationships, life experiences, education, and career achievements.

I'll teach you all about the Russian and English languages, and we'll practice conversation and grammar together. I love both my native language as well as the English language. My intense study of both languages combined with my love for teaching have allowed me to create personalized lesson plans which convey these complex concepts in a fun, non-threatening way.

I highly recommend Anna as a tutor! She has helped me improve my Russian greatly over the last year. Her lessons are nicely organized with equal focus on speaking and grammar. She is very friendly, easy to talk to, and reliable. Before I started meeting with Anna I thought I could never become fluent in Russian but her help has improved my confidence greatly and I know I will get there in time.

The best teacher I have found so far on Italki. I have had 5 other teachers and have learned more and gained more confidence through Anna than any other. She promotes talking and breaking through the awkwardness of a beginning learner. Anna also provides paperwork to help with cases. We spend time in class speaking of various topics and also working through homework. She passes no judgement when I can't get to studying or busy with life.
