My name is Silvia, I am Italian and since 2010 I live and work as an Italian teacher in Madrid.
I graduated in International Communication at the University of Palermo and then I got a specialization in Modern Languages for International Communication at the Guglielmo Marconi University in Rome.
I decided to dedicate myself to teaching and, therefore, I also obtained the DITALS certification (Diploma for the teaching of Italian as a foreign language), issued by the University for Foreigners of Siena.
I currently work as an Italian teacher, giving face-to-face and online classes to private students and in international companies.教学经验
For me, teaching Italian is a passion more than a job!
I am deeply convinced that learning a language also means knowing and getting closer to a new culture, so I love teaching my students linguistic and cultural habits and curiosities about my country.
Therefore, through the study of the language, I also try to provide knowledge about Italy and the Italian way of life.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My teaching method is focused on practice. I always try to adapt the content to the tastes and demands of each student. I use differentiated teaching materials: text books, videos, audio and newspapers.
My attempt is to provide them with useful and effective tools to truly learn Italian, using everyday vocabulary, phrases and sayings and explaining the origin of certain Italian expressions or customs.我的教学资料

Silvia is a delight to speak with. She helped me to speak and understand for one hour which is quite long for me. She was very helpful in summarising what I had said which helps me process what I said in the most eloquent way. She is also great at recommending material to help you learn and just lovely to speak to in general. I highly recommend anyone to book a conversation practice with Silvia and I will definitely be booking regular hours with her myself! I found today to be very productive and interesting!
