Hey! I'm Jacqueline, originally from Northern California, USA, now living in Italy. Working with both kids and adults brings me joy and I love being able to engage my students in meaningful conversations. I can empathize with non native speakers because I've put in a lot of hard work to learn Italian and immerse myself in the culture over the years so I know how difficult learning can feel sometimes. Creative writing is my passion, while my downtime involves music, films, and playing with my cat or spending time outdoors. I'm generally reserved in my personal life, but as a teacher, I'm friendly and open and I'm happy to connect with new people.教学经验

I absolutely love my job! I have been teaching both online and in schools for 8 years now. I work mainly as a teacher but sometimes as an official examiner for CEFR exam certifications and I do translation work from Italian to English. I have a lot of experience teaching Business English, Academic English and General English for all different types of learner. My goal as a teacher is to help my students empower themselves to communicate effectively and speak with confidence. My lessons are for people who want to laugh at their mistakes and have fun. I generally use a communicative approach but I will adapt my method to the student as I strongly believe that everyone learns differently. As my student, you can expect a teacher who is kind, patient (a little bit sarcastic sometimes) and also someone who will challenge you to do your best. I will track your progress and help you with difficult areas so that you can stay motivated and achieve your English goals. I will never tire of writing that Jacqueline is a fantastic teacher. It's not easy to keep the attention of a 13 year old boy for an hour, but she does it very well! Her lessons are always fun and motivating. Thanks Jacqueline! Learning English with you is so easy!!
