My name is Niquey (pronounced Neeky), and I am an artist, university student, English teacher, and child of Christ. I have a bachelor's in biology and am working towards a master's in software engineering all while working as a dental assistant and English teacher here on iTalki!

I have been an ESL teacher since 2015. Before that, I taught martial arts to kids and adults for many years. I speak several languages and am pursuing greater fluency every day. I hope my many interests and capabilities can come in handy in our classes together!

In the informal practice and conversation classes, we can focus on whatever you wish. Bring your topics, materials, and motivations, and I'll bring the expertise. In the speaking-intensive courses, I will provide focused materials for the relevant objective: formal speech, grammar improvement, or vocabulary building. At the end of each class, you will receive notes, pertinent feedback, as well as any recordings made that session. (For more on the class structure, please message me.)
