My name is Abigail and I'm from Nigeria. I love learning languages, so I love to teach them. In my quest to break the language barrier between me and persons who are hearing impaired, I chose to learn sign language and integrate into the deaf community and I've made lots of friends. I use my free time to write poetry and travel around West Africa.

I teach American sign language and have been a tutor for close to 8 years. I am a friendly teacher who teaches at all levels, be it beginner, intermediate, advanced, kids, or adults. All are welcome to learn!

I make sure to tailor my teachings to each student's needs depending on the level they're at. I discuss with my student to ascertain their learning goals and objectives, language background and what teaching approach they prefer, after which I draft a lesson plan and then implement all of that into my teaching.
