Hey guys! My name is Kosuke. I was born in Japan and now I live in New Zealand.
My passion is surfing and my hobby is travelling around NZ in my camper van.
I am excited to help you learn Japanese and to become part of your language-learning journey. Let's have fun learning together!

My motto is to make sure my students have FUN while studying with me. I provide a space for my students to practice real-world Japanese. I know from personal experience that the language used in a textbook is COMPLETELY different to the language used in real life. I’m here to teach you natural-sounding Japanese that is sure to be helpful, whether speaking to friends, travelling Japan, or just watching anime!

When learning Japanese, it’s important to put the things you learn to the test in a real-life scenario. That’s why in my classes, I give you the opportunity to talk about a topic of your choice in a natural conversational environment. Feel free to ask any questions you might have and I will correct any unnatural-sounding Japanese as we go.
I’ll do my best to gauge an understanding of where your Japanese is at and center each class around areas of difficulty. By working on areas you find tricky, your Japanese is sure to improve!
僕は言語はインプット回数よりもアウトプットする回数の方が大事だと考えています。クラスの中ではフリートークをしながらみなさんが気になる点、僕が気になった点を直して行きます。
一人一人の苦手な点を把握しそれに沿ったトーク内容を次回のクラスでお話ししながら使って覚えることを意識し徐々に慣れていくようなクラスになります。我的教学资料

Kosuke is a very friendly and patient teacher. He is very good at using easy to understand japanese, and pronouncing clearly. The conversations flow easily.

Kosuke is an amazing teacher! I've had several teachers on iTalki, and Kosuke's teaching style is my favorite. He is very nice, and patient while teaching and is always able to give detailed answers to my questions.

Kosuke is a genuinely kind, encouraging, and attentive teacher. He know's when to introduce new topics in order to keep the lessons challenging but not overwhelming. Kosuke always brings a warm energy to every lessons and is happy to celebrate my progress with me. Kosuke's teaching style has been an ideal introduction to the Japanese language. Can't wait for more lessons!
