Hello! My name is Shelby and I am an English teacher from the United States. I love learning languages, learning about other cultures, and writing. I have a degree in Journalism as well, so communication is something I am very passionate about. I grew up in Los Angeles, California, and currently live in Spain. I moved here six years ago to teach English as a second language.教学经验
My main goal as a teacher is to help my students gain confidence in English through a dynamic yet relaxed classroom atmosphere. Having moved to another country myself, I understand how difficult it can be to learn another language. Practice makes perfect! So speaking consistently is the best way to improve. That is why as a teacher I am very patient, friendly, and adaptable to my students´ needs. I enjoy having conversations about a variety of topics, such as: travel, health and wellness, nature and the outdoors, music, books, family life, and current events. The most important thing for me is that my students feel confident using English in the real world. I always aim to cover every aspect of the language in a low-pressure atmosphere. I do this by allowing for open conversation about any topic the students wish to discuss depending on their personal or professional goals. On the other hand, for students who prefer a more structured class, I can provide written, audio, and video materials as the basis of our conversation.我的教学资料
