Josue is an exceptional Spanish teacher. During each of of our classes, I have found him to be thoughtful, attentive, and he also has a great sense of when to correct me or introduce a new concept without interrupting the natural flow of conversation. I especially appreciate how organized he is. During each lesson, he keeps track of the grammar, vocabulary, and concepts we cover, then spends the last few minutes reviewing them with me. It’s a simple approach, but it makes a big difference in helping me retain what I’ve learned during each session. Josue is also genuinely kind and easy to talk to. I never feel intimidated or self-conscious about making mistakes. Instead, his encouragement motivates me to keep improving and reminds me why I’m learning Spanish in the first place: to communicate with others and better understand the culture.

It's now been a few months of lessons with Josué, and I can honestly say that I never thought I'd get this good at Spanish. When my partner and I visited Mexico City, I was able to converse with people fairly naturally, and that is 100% because of the direction that Josué has provided. Each lesson is like a conversation where we attempt to focus in on my particular issues. He never shies away from shining light on mistakes, but he makes sure that the errors are within my grasp to fix. I come away from each lesson with both a better vocabulary as well as a richer understanding of Mexican culture. It is entirely accurate to say that I highly recommend Josué as a teaher for my level (intermediate). Based on his fluency in English, as well as his patience, I cannot imagine that a beginner would find him anything other than absolutely amazing.

He creates a word bank after every lesson which is a great resource if you forget words and helps increase your vocabulary.
