I really like these clases. Evelyn is very educated and knows to invent interesting subject. The combination of speaking, movies and reading is excellent.

For the first lesson, we spoke according to my current level, with a lot of English according to my comfort. Señora Evelyn repeated many of her sentences in Spanish as well as she spoke, so I could learn as we went. When I spoke in Spanish but was unsure about a word or phrase, she wrote it in the chat box for me. Señora Evelyn has many years of education in various subjects and lived experience combined to create what I expect to be a very effective learning practice - the relaxation methods used to remove mental blocks while learning and speaking will almost certainly be very helpful to me.

Senora Evelyn creates a welcoming environment for learning. Her patience is greatly appreciated, as I’m an older learner working on grasping a new language. At the end of each session, I’m left excited to continue to learn and for the next session. Senora Evelyn takes a friendly approach conducive for success.

Señora Evelyn utilized sophrology for relaxation techniques to remove mental blocks while I listened to her read the book we have been studying, after which I read the same portion. This is her neuroboost method. These relaxation techniques can also be used to improve health and mental clarity in other areas of life, as well as helping me with reading more quickly, and especially with listening (which I struggle with in Spanish). I am looking forward to more of these lessons, as mental clarity will help significantly with my focus and ability to recall what I’ve learned. I am gaining awareness of grammatical structures through context clues and am able to ask more questions anytime.

The relaxation and super memory methods have really supported my growth. During this session, Evelyn guided me through a relaxation exercise that made it easier for me to absorb, grasp, and apply everything we covered.
