Assigning transcription tasks as homework to beginners may not be the most effective approach. This is particularly relevant when dealing with a language that presents significant challenges in writing. Transcription assignments require a strong foundation in language structure, spelling, and comprehension - a proficiency beginners are still developing. Hence, such tasks might lead to frustration and slow progress, rather than fostering a positive learning experience.
