I would highly recommend Ritu for anyone trying to learn Hindi as a beginner. I'm a slow learner who started with close to 0 Hindi knowledge and Ritu has been very patient with me and also very effective at helping me learn. She teaches at a perfect pace, and makes sure I've understood everything before moving on. In my short time learning Hindi so far, I've become a lot more comfortable with the once-intimidating alphabet and grammar and I'm starting to crack my friends up with random Hindi sentences. The class format involves reading passages together, viewing reference materials, explaining writing and sentence structure on the whiteboard, and simple conversations based on what we've learned.
